Own choice, two consecutive movements of a sonata. This is the only bassoon class at this grade/level in which sonata movements by a 20th/21st Century or Canadian composer may be played.

(S) CLASS 5652 BASSOON SOLO, CANADIAN COMPOSERS, HONOURS

One selection, own choice. This is the only bassoon class at this grade/level eligible for recommendation to the Senior Canadian Composers class at the Provincial Festival.

(S) CLASS 7704 MULTI-DISCIPLINE W.A. MOZART, SENIOR

One selection, own choice. May be a transcription of W.A. Mozart’s work. Time limit 10 minutes. No piano concertos. Instrumental sonatas, one movement only. Please specify instrument on entry form.

Own choice, one movement of a concerto. Orchestral part to be played on piano. This is the only bassoon class at this grade/level in which a concerto movement may be played.

CLASS 5658 BASSOON SOLO, RECITAL GROUP, HONOURS

Three selections, own choice, by one or more composers.

Participants will receive adjudication only. Time limit 15 minutes.
