These classes are restricted to mature adults, from beginner to advanced levels, who wish to perform in a festival setting. These classes are open to entries from all string instruments. Performances will be evaluated in accordance with the standard appropriate for the level of study.

CLASS 3962 STRING SOLO, CLASSICAL COMPOSERS, ADULT
One selection, own choice.

CLASS 3963 STRING SOLO, ROMANTIC COMPOSERS, ADULT
One selection, own choice.

CLASS 3964 STRING SOLO, 20TH/21ST CENTURY COMPOSERS, ADULT
One selection, own choice. Works by Canadian composers must be entered in the Canadian Composers class.

CLASS 3965 STRING SOLO, SONATA, ADULT
One selection, own choice.

CLASS 3966 STRING SOLO, CANADIAN COMPOSERS, ADULT
One selection, own choice.

CLASS 3967 STRING SOLO, CONCERTO, ADULT
Own choice, one movement of a concerto. Orchestral part to be played on piano. This is the only strong class at this grade/level in which a concerto movement may be played.

CLASS 3968 STRING SOLO, OWN CHOICE, ADULT
One selection, own choice.

CLASS 3969 STRING SOLO, RECITAL GROUP, ADULT
Three selections, own choice, by one or more composers. Participants will receive adjudication only. Time limit 15 minutes.
